MISSION
The mission of the Cuban Family History
and Genealogy Project is to undertake
and support programs that document, preserve, promote
and present
Cuban family history and genealogy without any ethnic,
religious, political or
social distinctions.
Family History applies to biographical research into
Cuba’s ancestors, to produce
well-documented narrative histories of interest to
current and future generations. It
involves the study of the historical circumstances
and geographical conditions in
which Cubans and Cuban-Americans lived.
The project will serve the interest of Cubans and
Cuban-Americans in documenting
their family history, and tracing their family lineages
back to an Indigenous,
European, Middle Eastern, Asian or African ancestor.
